The DSG is very fun and you feel like it is a standard manual until you want to downshift smoothly. The instant engine braking effect when you downshift with DSG makes the transitions feel abrupt. Hi I have a 62 plate CC GT DSG diesel, great car, the DSG allows for manual change, underpinned by auto, although fuel consumption, based on technical data in car manual, is slightly higher than the manual version. ( 2-3 mpg), the DSG is a better choice, I would not willingly go back to a manual
