The GCX51A and 51B relays are identical except that the GCX51B contains an instantaneous overcurrent fault detector while the GCX51A does not. Three type-GCX51 relays plus a suitable RPM or SAM timing relay will provide three— step directional distance protection against three—phase, phase-to-phase, and double-phase—to-ground faults on a need to use it for Step 9 of the Distributor Installation. Do NOT connect the switched 12v wire to a source such as the ignition coil, or starter solenoid. It may be necessary to install a 4 pole relay to provide a clean switched 12v Ignition source, Mr. Gasket 40100G will work perfectly for this application. DISTRIBUTOR REMOVAL: 1. Manuals. The wiring diagram and installation instructions provided with the converter must be followed to provide satisfactory operation. The manufactured phase on a Ronk converter is identified as "A". Motor control circuits and single- phase loads must not be connected to this phase. When installing DUO ADD-A-PHASE or special multiple Phase and Phase Difference. March 4, 2020 / 0 Comments. The two fluxes ɸ 1 and ɸ 2 induced in upper and lower magnets respectively differing in phase by angle θ will develop a driving torque on the disc proportional to ɸ 1. ɸ 2 sin θ. An important feature of this relay is that its operation can be controlled by opening or closing the secondary winding circuit. Figure 6 below.
