The instructions in this guide are for using the Mitel 5320e/5330e/5340e Internet Protocol (IP) Phone on the Mitel 5000 Communications Platform (CP). The Quick Reference Guide located at the beginning of this guide is an overview of frequently used features. Your IP phone should be powered on and ready to use. To check voice mail from an external phone 1 Dial your voice mail access number. 2 Enter your extension. 3 Enter your password. 4 Press #. Listening To Messages At the Main Menu prompt, press 1. The voice mail system plays urgent messages first, then newly arrived messages. The system gives the delivery date and time for each message. 1. From the idle display, press (Applications), and then press Call History. 2. Press: • Missed to view your missed calls (if any). • All to view all calls. • Answered to view your incoming calls. • Made to view your outgoing calls. 3. Press Delete List to delete all calls from the currently displayed list. 4. 1. Press SuperKey (must be programmed to a key) 2. Press No until "Set User PIN?" appears. 3. Press Yes softkey or the User PIN softkey. 4. At the prompt "Enter Old PI N", enter your old User PIN. 5. Press Enter. 6. At the prompt "Enter new PIN", enter your new PIN. Use left arrow key to correct mistakes. Lift the handset OR Press . Dial the number OR Press a Speed Callkey OR Press OR Dial the prefix for external calls (e.g. 9) and the number. Answer a Call Lift the handset OR Press , and begin speaking. End a Call Press OR Replace the handset. Place a Call on Hold Press . The line key flashes. Replace the handset if necessary. These can be removed by following the simple steps below. With the handset down, press the flashing Mail button. The display will show "Call Me Back", press yes.
