To program the system for active arming, turn the ignition key off before exiting the vehicle and closing the door. Press the remote's lock button once before waiting for both the vehicle's horn and brake lights to chirp and flash once. A pulsing red LED will indicate that the system has been armed. To disarm the system using the remote To exit "Valet Mode" to return to normal operation - within 3 seconds of the Prius power "On", press and hold the blue button below the blue LED until the LED goes out.
