I'm using it mainly for day and overnight sessions. If your an angler that likes to be on the move this is perfect as its so light and easy to erect. Radar-3000 Instruction manual.zip. 3.367 Kbytes. The Defender does come with a lightweight, Velcro-secured groundsheet for added insulation and comfort. The rear of the bivvy has some vents to help promote air flow, which I'm always particularly grateful during summer I have the standard original bloxx and it is pretty good. Height wise I am 5f 8 and there is plently of space, it is quite a tall bivvy compared to the tempest/hide's etc so you will be fine. I have the original Bloxx Compact, brochure height for that is 1.35cm but it is plenty high enough for me at 6 foot. Info on JRC quad bivvy. Feb 4, 2011. #2. I have the two-man version and have found it to be a solid piece of kit. Well made, waterproof and easy to erect, with a heavy-duty groundsheet and sturdy poles and pegs. The inner has mesh panels which help to reduce condensation. The only drawback is that you can't use it without the overwrap if there's a likelihood of rain. The bivvy comes in its own convenient carry case, and a tough, lightweight groundsheet is included, which ensures you, your tackle, and your kit stay dry, whatever the weather decides to do. Size matters, and this bivvy has plenty of it, with the 1 Man coming in at 205cm x 140cm x 270cm, and the 2 Man at 275cm x 150cm x 300cm. Designed for the long session angler with comfort in mind.
