The studio, Twentieth Century Fox, needed a hit after all. And while there were decisions made that date the film, we still find it works. Join us - Pete Wright and Andy Nelson - as we continue our 80s Comedy With Coolidge & Heckerling series with Heckerling's 1984 film Johnny Dangerously. Michael Keaton does a great job as Johnny Kelley/Dangerously as he battle Roman Moron-ey and the rest of the "fargin' ice holes" and the "bastages." With his brother Tommy who becomes a district attorney, it is a wid ride in a black sedan. No wait, it's white. Johnny Dangerously is a 1984 American crime comedy film, and a parody of 1930s crime/gangster movies. It was directed by Amy Heckerling. The film stars Michael Keaton as an honest, goodhearted man who turns to a life of crime to finance his mother's skyrocketing medical bills and to put his younger brother through law school. Joe Piscopo, Marilu Henner, Maureen Stapleton, Peter Boyle, Griffin Johnny Dangerously, also known as Johnny Kelly is the titular character and protagonist of the 1984 gangster parody movie Johnny Dangerously. He is the archenemy of Danny Vermin. He is portrayed by Michael Keaton who also portrayed Batman. As a child, Johnny was a paperboy from a working-class family, who first meet Danny Vermin, who would become his worst rival, after the latter attempted to Johnny Dangerously is a 1984 American crime comedy film, and a parody of 1930s crime/gangster movies.
