One Intrigue Card: Play when starting a turn in a room. You may stay in that room and start a Rumor. Two Intrigue Cards: Play instead of answering a Rumor. The By making Suggestions, you try to determine - by process of elimination -- which three cards are in the confidential Case File envelope. To make a Suggestion,Shuffle the Intrigue cards and place to one side. Shuffle the remaining Rumor cards together and deal them, face down, so that each player has the same number.
