Follow these steps to view or download a PDF with Internet Explorer. Open the Internet Explorer browser. Browse to the PDF you'd like to view or download and click it. The file should automatically open in the browser window. To save (download) the PDF, click the icon located near the bottom of the browser window. For IT Admins: To click on a PDF in Internet Explorer and open the PDF directly inside Foxit PDF Editor run: "C:Program Files (x86)Foxit SoftwareFoxit PDF EditorFoxitPDFEditor.exe" -undisplayinbrowser. It says undisplayinbrowser but that is the correct one. If that doesn't work, remove the following two DLLs from "C:Program Files (x86 • Enable sets the Adobe PDF Reader add-on to open PDFs in the browser. • Disable turns off the add-on so it does not open PDFs in the browser. • Select Adobe PDF Reader and click the Enable/Disable button. For more information, see the Internet Explorer help topic Manage add-ons in Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge Answer: Set from Options in PowerPDF. Open PowerPDF > File > Options > General > Integrations > select Disable - View PDF documents in Internet Explorer Find the PDF in your Files and open it with a double-click. Select Adobe Acrobat (or your preferred PDF reader) from the list of available options. If an options window doesn't appear, or if the PDF opens in another program, go back to the File view and right-click on the PDF. Then, select Open With and choose your downloaded reader. Click Open. Try resetting the display preference in your browser to clear up the viewing issue. In Reader or Acrobat, right-click the document window, and choose Page Display Preferences. From the list at left, select Internet. Deselect Display PDF in browser, and then click OK. Try to open the PDF again from the website. We are seeing quite a few users in our company getting a prompt to save the PDF they want to open, instead of it just opening. I can't find the setting to change this anywhere.
