Double underlining in a PDF. Tom posted over 11 years ago. I have created a PDF using Infragistics.Documents.Report. I add sections and tables to display the data on the report. I need to double underline some of the cells in the table. I can underline the cell by adding a bottom border. The border style seems to only let me make the border a Bethany, I think you will find that the double border style is only viewable as a double line in the HTML output format and not PDF. In PDF, as you have seen, the border appears as a single line. In EXL2K you don't even get the border. There are other line styles that are only available in HTML format (see below) and although "double" is not This method allows printing text with line breaks. They can be automatic (as soon as the text reaches the right border of the cell) or explicit (via the character). As many cells as necessary are output, one below the other. Text can be aligned, centered or justified. The cell block can be framed and the background painted. Since it is possible to create cells that are bigger (vertically) than the text within them I think there should be an option to align the text to the top, bottom or center of the cell. I use it this functionality to create a table, but I guess there are other use cases where it would be helpful to be able to do this. API. add custom fonts, you need the 4 most common styles of the font, and the name needs to be standard. The normal font hast to be only the name, for the bold append: -Bold, for italic: -Oblique, bolditalic: -BoldOblique. i.e. Arial.ttf,Arial-Bold.ttf,Arial-Oblique.ttf, Arial-BoldOblique.ttf. Tag-based MultiCell(FPDF Add On) Informations: Author: Bintintan Andrei, Interpid Team License: Valid only with written agreement from the Author Description: This FPDF Add On Class allows creation of TAG based formatted text areas with line breaks. They can be automatic (as soon as the text reaches the right border of the cell) or explicit (via the character). Now I agree that it'd be nice if FPDF.cell / FPDF.multi_cell / FPDF.write could support setting only part of text as bold / italic.. The question is: what would be the best way to provide this feature to users, while staying mostly backward-compatible & aiming at a clean library API at the same time? Maybe those 3 functions could support minimal Markdown-like markup? How to change the border style in file invoice(*.pdf) from "solid" to "dotted"? I just want to change the border style: so that the outer and inside border's is "dotted", not "solid"… Thank you in advance! Yours faithfully, Vadim. P.S. I apologize for your english We can add border in any side or in all sides or we can remove the borders of the cell by assigning different values. Example : To add border to Left , Right and top we can give the option as 'LRT', similarly we can assign border to bottom only by giving the option as 'B'. Check the border option value with different sides to add border. → Output a HTML Table to file PDF use FPDF Informations Class: PDFTable Author: vietcom License: Freeware In this class, I use class HTMLParser from Jose Solorzano and class FPDF from Olivier PLATHEY Description This script allows you to print a HTML table to file PDF.
