To successfully pair your HEOS Subwoofer and/or your HEOS Surrounds, please follow this procedure: 1 - Hardwire the HEOS AVR, Denon Home Sound Bar 550 and/or HEOS Bar to your network via Ethernet.. 2 - Assign Static IP to the HEOS Sub and/or Surround devices.. 3 - Pair the HEOS Subwoofer and/or HEOS Speakers used as Surrounds to your HEOS AVR, Denon Home Sound Bar 550 or HEOS Bar
If the hum or buzzing increases or decreases with volume change, please try a different streaming source to confirm consistency. In case of wirelessly paired HEOS speakers or HEOS Amp as surround speaker, select Music Playback and set it to Multi-Channel Stereo. If your Surround speakers work well with network music but not with external sources like TV sound, please make sure the current sound mode is not set to Virtual since Virtual only gives you a virtual surround

The soundbar of the HEOS HomeCinema should be place as close as possible to the television screen. It should be centered left-to-right with the screen, and ideally no more than a few inches above or below. The most common location is below the screen. Sometimes this location can be difficult, because the base of the TV gets in the way.
