LEARN MORE In both cases, you will need to run the Clearpath software to configure the motor first. To connect the motor to Arduino, connect digital outputs on Arduino to Enable+, InputA+ and InputB+. The Enable-, InputA- and InputB- signals should be connected to ground on your Arduino. Thank you for the advice! and the Clearpath is still processing motion after the step pulses from Mach have been finished and Mach is ready to process the next line of G-code. If you set your acceleration in Mach to more closely track what the motor is capable of producing, Mach will alter the step pulse stream to not get as far ahead of what the motor can actually do. The inputs are optically isolated, current-limited, and accept a voltage range of 4-28VDC as stated in Appendix D of the ClearPath User Manual. We advertise 5-24VDC on the website since these are commonly used voltages, but as you can see there is some engineering margin built in.
