Set to be released January 7, 2021, the seven-track EP reflects Lawgiver's diverse catalogue - reggae, roots, culture, dancehall and afrobeats with some soul.
This EP has been in the works for over a year and has just been finalized. This EP has horns from the great Dean Fraser, bass by Owen "bassy" Rennals, Gammy winning producers Cleveland "Clevie" Browne and the Sly and Robbie duo.
LawGiver, born Oneil Phoenix, was born in Kingston on the 23 of July, sharing the same earthstrong as H.I.M. and embracing the Rastafari faith and recognizing H.I.M as King, led LawGiver to the EP title The Kingson from Kingston.
A prolific writer, LawGiver is constantly writing new songs everyday and plans to release an album soon.
