OEM manual rack is like power steering with stock wheels and properly inflated tires. OEM manual rack with 17's and low pros is a bitch to parallel park. Otherwise it's fine. I've owned 2 manual steering mr2's. Loved them both. I would prefer the manual steering on a road course. The mr2 power steering sort of numbs the feel of tire feedback.
