The first annual Irie Vibes Music Festival is set to kick off August 2nd-4th, 2013 in Gruetli-Laager, TN! With the goal of bringing bands, musicians, family, friends, and fans together, the festival is shaping up to be an extremely successful addition to the huge list of festivals all over the country.
Bands with influences from a variety of genres, including reggae, rock, funk, punk, ska, roots, jazz, jam, and bluegrass are coming from all over the East Coast and Midwest to show fans what they’re all about and spread some irie vibes. Bands include 77 Jefferson, Bong Hits for Jesus, Tropidelic, Sun-Dried Vibes, TreeHouse!, Jahman Brahman and over 30 others!
Members of Sun-Dried Vibes, the band hosting the festival and whose song became the name of the event, have been working hard along with volunteers to bring this festival to you! “Our mission as a band has been to create a family of like-minded musicians and fans. Conscious and positive music is on the rise and people in this world want to see a change. We are a part of that movement and it’s our duty to put it in motion. This is our effort to bring all the folks we have encountered over the years and put all our collective energies together to spread the One Love Movement.” - Zach Fowler of Sun-Dried Vibes.
